Public services and health services unions hold a workshop on women’s role and gender equality

A joint workshop brought together the public services and health services unions on Sunday, 29 June 2025. It was dedicated to newly elected administrative committees and addressed women’s role in trade unions and gender equality as part of the Women’s Project.

Organisers and participants

The General Union of Health Services Workers and its public services counterpart jointly organised the meeting; both belong to the Palestinian General Federation of Trade Unions. The workshop targeted the newly elected executive committees resulting from both unions’ elections.

As part of the women’s project

The workshop was part of Public Services International’s (PSI) series of workshops under the women’s project, through its national coordinator Juwayriya Safadi, who was also then head of the Health Services Union at the Nablus Council.
